I am new to this list and would like to post my interests. I am trying to
find out some information on JABEZ SKINGLE born 1846, in Great Dunmow, Essex
who sailed on the 'CELTIC' from Liverpool to Philadelphia in 1913. I have
looked him up on the Ellis Island records and found him on the passenger
list. Jabez was a photographer and was returning to his home in 2453 N 15th
Street Philadelphia.

I have also come across a JAMES SKINGLE (from LDS records) b 1848 travelling
to Philadelphia from Liverpool on the 'NOORDLAND' in 1904 also a
photographer from England. Address given as 2550 New York Street,
Philadelphia.

I would like to find out if these are the same person or two separate
people. Could anyone advise me how I could go about this and if there are
other records of passenger lists I could search.

Thank you
Regards
Jacqueline Lynch

Just incase you don't have it :-) He didn't hit in 1901 or 81 I would
consider he left england before 1913 but he doesn't hit in the 1880 census. I am
sending privately some directory entries for the address just incase the names
ring familiar to you.
