King, John (b. ABT 1786, d. ?)
Note: Message from Robert Batch on Genes Reunited
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Just learnt that my great great great great great grandfather, James King, was born in Great Hormead in 1783. So I am not sure if your John Dines King was the brother of my James. Parents were Henry (b. app 1757 Gt Hormead) and Elizabeth nee Dines (b. app 1761 Gt Hormead) (m. 15 Jan 1782 Gt Hormead) as I am concern that I found this from IGI so perhaps can you shed some light on this.

I know that my James had some children from Sarah and he lived in Chipping Barnet and died in either 1855 or 1859.

His son John died before 1850. Could not find his whereabout in 1841 census.

He married to Jane Chipp from IOW in 1840 at Marylebone. Their daughter Mary Jane King married to Joseph Edward Billins. Got them in photos hanging in the living room.

My James King was General Dealer of some sort in Chipping Barnet accord to his sons marriage certifcate.
